Residential Program
Creating Positive Opportunities
We use targeted, gender-specific practices, treatment and trauma-responsive approaches to best serve the young women in our care and help them to overcome their pasts in order to build bright futures.
Uta Halee serves young women displaying at-risk and delinquent behaviors who are referred by child welfare agencies, juvenile courts as well as private sources. Uta Halee Academy utilizes the Integrated Care Model to provide effective interventions within an environment that promotes academic inclusion, social and cognitive skill development and that celebrates student achievement.
Uta Halee’s residential academy also encourages our young women to learn and grow through the development and practical application of new skills that prepare them for successful transitions back to their home communities.
TREATMENT SERVICES
Treatment services will be provided within a strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral and trauma-responsive environment by qualified clinical staff and guided by evidence-based principles.

Accredited Education & Vocational Programming
Uta Halee Academy features an on-site, Cognia accredited school that tailors academics to meet the specific needs of each student. Through small class-sizes, qualified teaching staff, and individualized education and career plans, students learn, grow and succeed. We have created an school environment that fosters creative thinking and academic excellence, where learning extends far beyond the classroom.
Through our modular CTE curriculum, students gain practical, applicable skills that will enable them to enter the job market with specialized skills and industry-recognized certifications. Our programs provide students with beginning to advanced instruction, resulting in tangible work experience both on-campus and in the community.
Enrichment Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
Extracurricular activities are an essential component of Uta Halee’s Integrated Care Model program. Studies have found that participation in certain extracurricular pursuits significantly reduces a student’s risk of dropping out. Uta Halee students have the opportunity to participate in sanctioned sports, intramurals and campus clubs. These activities help students develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills that can be applied to other areas of their lives.
